BTS
BTS also known as bangtan sonyeondan ( 방탄소년단 ) literally meaning "Bulletproof Boy Scouts"
is a South Korean boyband consists of 7 members: Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
Their lyrics, often focused on personal and social commentary, touch on the themes of mental health,
troubles of school-age youth and coming-of-age, loss, the journey towards loving oneself, and
individualism. Their work features references to literature and psychological concepts and includes
an alternative universe storyline. BTS also became the fastest group since the Beatles to earn
four US number-one albums, and doing so in less than two years.

BTS debut with the "2 Cool 4 Skool" album of their "school trilogy" series in Jun 2013, follow by the second part of "school trilogy" "O!RUL8,2?" album in Sep 2013. - Success and first concert tour in 2014
BTS released their third album "Skool Luv Affair", feature their lead single "Boy in Luv". It also marked BTS' first appearance on Billboard's World Albums Chart. BTS held their first concert in the United States in West Hollywood for free to an audience of 200 fans. - Breakthrough 2015-2016
The successful of their fouth album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life", BTS became the first K-pop act to remain atop the latter for multiple weeks. In 2016 "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever" won BTS first major Korean award for Album of the Year at the 8th Melon Music Awards. - International Expansion 2017
BTS commenced their second world tour in 2017 "The Wings Tour". In the same year they became the first K-pop group to perform at the American Music Awards which raising their profile internationally. - United Nations Speech 2018
2018 was an iconic year for the BTS, being invited to speak at the UN is an honor and the archivement that they proud of. The group has always made themselves socially aware, for instance, partnering up with UNICEF for the "Love Myself" anti-violence campaign. - Map of the Soul: Persona 2019
Map of the Soul: Persona was named as the third best-selling album of 2019 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, making BTS the first Korean artist to be listed on the Global Top 10 Album Chart for two consecutive years. The group became the first artists in the history of K-pop to receive all grand prizes from both the 2019 Melon Music Awards and 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards ceremonies. - Map of the Soul:7 2020
Map of the Soul:7 was a huge commercial success, reaching number one in over 20 countries and becoming the world's best-selling album of 2020. The group became the first K-pop performed at the Grammy Awards alongside Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Diplo and Nas. - 2021 - Present
BTS performed "Dynamite" at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, becoming the first Korean nominee to perform their own song on the show. "Butter" debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking the group's fourth number one in the last nine months.
